Arco joins Ripple Hong Kong fintech program

Arco’s selection for Brinc and Ripple’s Hong Kong Financial Innovation Program gives the tokenization startup a direct line to banks, asset managers and digital-asset firms as it pushes to turn real-world asset distribution into a commercial onchain business.
The 12-week HFIP 2026 cohort includes 10 startups focused on payments, financial infrastructure and digital assets, but Arco’s immediate priority is to translate the program into institutional partnerships in Hong Kong and across Asia. The company said it will use the accelerator’s technical support and corporate network to work out custody, integration and operating models for distributing institutional RWA products onchain.
That matters because tokenized finance is moving from proof-of-concept toward market structure. If Arco can secure relationships with Hong Kong financial institutions, it could help connect Korean product issuers with global investors through the XRP Ledger, expanding the practical use case for XRPL beyond payments and into institutional distribution.
Hong Kong remains one of the region’s most important gateways for digital-asset business, even as regulatory and political pressures have made the market more selective. For Brinc, backed by Animoca Brands, the program is designed to move startups past technical development and into enterprise commercialization, which is the step that determines whether tokenization platforms can generate recurring revenue.
For Ripple, the program extends the company’s push to make XRPL relevant for regulated financial services and institutional settlement. For Arco, the upside is access to counterparties that can turn tokenized product pipelines into actual flow, while the risk is that adoption depends on banks, custodians and asset managers aligning on standards that are still evolving.
Investors will be watching whether the HFIP program produces pilot deployments, custody agreements or distribution deals rather than another round of partnerships in name only. The next catalyst is whether Arco can turn the Hong Kong introductions into signed collaborations and live institutional RWA transactions.
