XRP Ledger Activity and ETF Inflows Lift XRP

XRP still trades well below the $1.55 to $1.60 resistance zone that would have to give way before the market can seriously test higher targets, but the token has already climbed about 31% in August and remains above both its 50-day and 200-day moving averages. The recent pullback to around $1.35 to $1.40 looks more like consolidation than trend failure, especially with the RSI still in bullish territory and the Bollinger Band structure showing room for extension if momentum returns.

Institutional flows are adding fuel. XRP ETF products have drawn a record $1.66 billion in net inflows, including $110.49 million in the latest week, a sign that regulated wrappers are still absorbing demand even as spot price action cools. That gives XRP an edge over many altcoins that are still stuck on macro beta alone.

Still, the setup is not clean. Open interest is elevated, leverage is rising and the market has been volatile, which means any failed push through resistance could trigger a fast unwind. XRP also remains sensitive to broader crypto risk appetite and to regulatory headlines tied to the CLARITY Act and the SEC backdrop.

For investors, the key question is whether network activity and ETF demand can keep outrunning supply from profit-taking and leverage. A decisive close above $1.55 to $1.60 would make $1.70, $1.80 and then $2 a live target; a loss of support near $1.30 would put the breakout narrative on hold.
