Novitec has unveiled the first aftermarket tuning program for Ferrari’s ultra-rare Monza SP1 and SP2, adding power and personalization to one of Maranello’s most exclusive V12 road cars.
Novitec tunes Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2

The German tuner says its high-performance exhaust system lifts output of the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated engine by 34 horsepower to 844 hp and adds 61 Nm of torque, taking peak twist to 780 Nm. Novitec says the modified barchetta can hit 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, 0.1 second quicker than standard, while top speed now exceeds 300 km/h.

The program matters because it extends a niche but lucrative segment of Ferrari’s ecosystem: factory exclusivity plus high-margin customization. For owners, the appeal is simple — more sound, more response and more individuality — but the message for the wider luxury car market is that the appetite for bespoke performance remains strong even on models already sold as collector-grade hardware.
Novitec says the exhaust can be made from stainless steel or lighter inconel, the same material used in Formula 1, and can be ordered with actively controlled valves. The most exclusive version shown on a Monza SP1 uses gold-plated Novitec Inconel for thermal protection.
The package also includes forged Vossen wheels, lowered sport springs and cabin customization in leather and Alcantara. Novitec says the parts fit both the Monza SP1 and SP2, underscoring how the tuner monetizes ultra-low-volume Ferrari models long after the factory has moved on.
For Ferrari, the development is another reminder that demand for its halo cars supports a broader aftermarket and personalization economy, even as the brand balances combustion-engine prestige with electrification and its racing image. For investors, it reinforces the pricing power around Ferrari’s most exclusive models and the durability of luxury demand, with shares still trading above both their 50-day and 200-day moving averages, even after the recent pullback from August highs.
The next watchpoint is whether Ferrari’s high-end customization story keeps translating into margin support as the company prepares further product and motorsport milestones.
