US stock index futures experienced an uptick as investors closely monitored the evolving geopolitical landscape between the United States and Iran. This rise in futures comes amid a backdrop of extreme market sentiment, characterized by a prevailing sense of greed, as evidenced by a high score in investor confidence. However, the Dow Jones Index faced resistance, struggling to maintain upward momentum as it was rejected once again at key resistance levels. The mixed signals reflect a cautious optimism among traders, who are weighing the implications of potential diplomatic developments against a backdrop of heightened volatility in global markets. As the market grapples with these dynamics, investor sentiment remains fragile, with fears of escalation in geopolitical tensions potentially influencing trading strategies in the coming sessions.
