Avalanche is edging toward a technical breakout just as real-world asset adoption on its blockchain accelerates, giving AVAX a fundamental catalyst that traders have not been able to ignore.
Avalanche AVAX Nears $12 Breakout on Treasury Growth

The tokenized U.S. Treasury market on Avalanche has surged to about $545 million, up 14% in the third quarter and roughly four times the level a year ago, according to RWA.xyz data cited by Avalanche. That matters because tokenized Treasuries are one of the clearest bridges between traditional finance and crypto: they let investors hold exposure to government debt through blockchain-based products, turning Avalanche from a speculative network into a venue for regulated capital flows.
For AVAX holders, the significance is not just adoption in the abstract. More Treasury issuance on-chain implies more transaction activity, more institutional familiarity and a stronger case that Avalanche is competing for a share of the tokenization market that Wall Street is still only beginning to price in. In a market where capital has been rotating toward safer assets and away from speculative risk, the growth of tokenized Treasuries is a powerful narrative because it gives crypto exposure a yield-backed use case.
That helps explain why AVAX has recovered 3.6% to around $11.53 and is pressing against the $12 area. The token has climbed nearly 60% from its low near $7.23, reclaiming key average-price levels and shifting the near-term balance toward buyers. But the chart still matters: AVAX has repeatedly struggled to deliver a clean daily close above $12, and that resistance remains the gatekeeper for a move toward $13.
The technical backdrop is improving, but not yet decisive. AVAX is still above its 50-day and 200-day moving averages, and the broader trend has turned constructive after months of weakness. At the same time, the latest RSI reading of 16.3 shows the token is deeply oversold even after the rebound, which can support a sharp move if momentum buyers finally force a breakout. Failure to clear $12, though, could keep the token trapped in a sideways range and invite profit-taking back toward $10.40 to $10.50.
The investment takeaway is straightforward: the market underestimates how quickly tokenization can become a real demand engine for blockchain networks, and Avalanche is showing one of the cleanest early signs of that shift. If AVAX can turn $12 into support, the next leg toward $13 looks plausible; if tokenized asset growth keeps compounding, the long-term rerating case is much bigger than one chart level.
