Jio Platforms is preparing to price its initial public offering at Rs 1,065-Rs 1,119 a share, a move that would make Reliance Industries’ telecom and digital arm India’s largest-ever IPO and value it at about $107 billion.
Jio Platforms IPO Price Range Set at Rs 1,065-1,119

The offering, expected to raise about Rs 30,213 crore, comes as Indian equity markets remain receptive to large new issues and as investors seek exposure to a business that dominates the country’s telecom growth story. At the top of the range, Jio would become India’s third most valuable company, behind parent Reliance Industries and Bharti Airtel.
The pricing also points to strong appetite ahead of the sale. The stock was reportedly carrying a grey market premium of Rs 175-Rs 180 a share, implying about 16% upside to the upper end of the band, after starting the week at Rs 145-Rs 150.
For investors, the deal is more than a landmark listing. It offers a rare chance to buy into India’s fastest-growing digital and telecom franchises at a scale that could draw domestic institutions, foreign funds and retail buyers into a crowded book. The size alone may also affect flows across the market, with large allocations likely to pull capital from other recent IPOs and secondary offerings.
A successful float would reinforce Reliance’s strategy of unlocking value from its consumer-facing businesses while giving the market a fresh benchmark for India’s telecom sector, where Jio and Bharti Airtel remain the key listed and unlisted competitors. The main test now is whether the company can convert grey market demand into oversubscription and a strong debut.
