Nvidia has taken a stake in French medical appointment platform Doctolib, extending its push into health care software and giving the world’s most valuable chipmaker a foothold in one of Europe’s best-known digital health companies.
Nvidia Takes Stake in Doctolib

The deal matters because it ties Nvidia’s AI boom to a practical, regulated use case: patient booking, care coordination and broader health-tech infrastructure. For investors, it shows Nvidia is broadening its investment map beyond chips and cloud providers into end markets that could eventually drive more demand for its AI tools.

Jensen Huang announced the investment in Paris on Tuesday, where he is unveiling commitments in France. Nvidia did not disclose the size of the stake, the amount invested or the valuation used.
Doctolib has spent the past year reshaping its shareholder base. In April, a group of international investors bought nearly 300 million euros of shares in a secondary deal valuing the company at 3.6 billion euros, down 38% from the 5.8 billion euros it reached in 2022.
The lower valuation reflects a tougher market for private technology companies, where profitability now matters more than growth alone. Doctolib says it has reached profitability and reported 422 million euros in annual recurring revenue in 2025, even after a competition regulator sanction late last year.
For Nvidia, the move adds another European health-tech name to a portfolio that has increasingly extended into AI infrastructure, model developers and application-layer companies. The stock has been volatile in recent weeks, but conventional technical indicators still show it trading above both its 50-day and 200-day moving averages, with the latest close at $226.96.
The investment also fits a broader policy backdrop in Europe, where governments and health systems are trying to use AI while keeping tight oversight of patient data and clinical risk. Any further details on the size of Nvidia’s holding, or how Doctolib plans to use the partnership, will be the next test for investors looking for evidence that AI spending is translating into real-world commercial deployment.
