XRP exchange-traded funds are still drawing money even as investors pulled roughly $1.2 billion from Bitcoin and Ethereum products, a striking sign that crypto capital is rotating rather than leaving the asset class altogether.
XRP ETFs Draw Inflows as Bitcoin and Ethereum Funds Bleed

That matters because ETF flows have become one of the cleanest gauges of institutional demand in crypto. When money keeps showing up in a smaller product like XRP while leaving the biggest funds behind, it suggests investors are hunting for relative strength, not just buying the market leader by default. For long-term investors, that kind of rotation can be more important than a single day’s price move.
XRP funds recorded inflows in two sessions during the week of Oct. 5-9, extending their streak to 13 straight weeks. Net assets in XRP ETFs now stand at $1.57 billion, with cumulative inflows since launch at $1.80 billion. By contrast, Bitcoin ETFs saw $681.1 million of outflows, Ethereum products lost $542.07 million and Solana funds shed $24.81 million, ending a 14-week run of inflows for Solana.
The numbers show just how quickly sentiment can flip in crypto. Bitcoin had pulled in $1.918 billion in net inflows only weeks earlier, underscoring that ETF demand is still powerful but far from steady. Adalytica’s Bitcoin Fear & Greed Index sat at “Extreme Fear,” while Ethereum’s reading was in “Fear,” a reminder that emotion can swing much faster than fundamentals.
For XRP, the bigger question is whether steady ETF demand can eventually overpower the token’s muted price action. XRP was changing hands around $1.33 on Oct. 16, stuck below the $1.38 to $1.40 resistance zone that traders are watching closely. Conventional technical indicators point to a still-fragile setup: the token remains below its 50-day moving average and its relative strength index is in bearish territory, which helps explain why flows alone have not translated into a breakout.
Investors should also keep perspective. ETF inflows tell you who is buying the wrappers, not necessarily whether those buyers are committed for the long haul. But a 13-week streak is nothing to dismiss. It tells us XRP has a growing base of demand at a time when the crypto trade as a whole is under pressure.
If XRP can clear the $1.40 area and hold it, the ETF flow story may start to matter more for price. If it cannot, these inflows may simply mark a durable, but range-bound, pocket of interest. Either way, XRP has earned a place on the watchlist for investors looking for where crypto capital may be going next.
