Marvell Technology shares are drawing fresh bullish attention after BMO Capital Markets said the company’s investor day strengthened confidence in its artificial intelligence growth outlook and lifted its price target to $325 from $250.
Marvell Technology target raised to $325 by BMO

The new target implies meaningful upside from Marvell’s close of $275.28 on Friday, extending a rally that has already pushed the stock far above its 50-day moving average of $236.44 and its 200-day moving average of $171.70. The shares have been volatile, but the latest move leaves Marvell trading near the upper end of its recent range as investors continue to reward AI exposure.
BMO kept its “outperform” rating unchanged, signaling that the firm sees Marvell’s custom silicon, networking and data-center businesses as central beneficiaries of sustained AI infrastructure spending. That matters economically because Marvell sits in the supply chain for the buildout of servers and networking gear that hyperscalers and chip buyers need to expand AI capacity.
The call also lands at a time when the market is split between enthusiasm for AI and anxiety over whether the spending cycle can keep running at the current pace. Marvell itself warned in recent SEC filings that AI infrastructure capex may not be sustainable long term and that lower-cost alternatives could pressure training and inference demand, but BMO’s note suggests the investor day addressed enough of those concerns to improve conviction.
The broader market backdrop remains supportive for AI hardware suppliers. Nvidia, the flagship name in the trade, has stayed elevated even as its stock has chopped around in recent sessions, while Microsoft remains near record levels as cloud and AI demand continues to drive spending across the sector. Marvell’s move shows investors are still willing to pay up for companies with direct AI revenue exposure, especially when management can reinforce the growth story in front of analysts.
For investors, the question now is whether Marvell can convert the stronger narrative into sustained earnings and margin expansion rather than another short-lived AI rerating. With sentiment around the sector still skewed toward greed, the next catalysts are likely to be follow-through orders, additional analyst revisions and any update on AI infrastructure demand from hyperscaler customers.
