Spain is set to become the European Union’s fourth-largest OnlyFans market in 2026, a sign that paid creator platforms are still extracting more revenue even as casual search interest fades.
Spain OnlyFans spending seen rising in 2026
That matters because it shows a subscription economy with real pricing power. According to OnlyGuider’s “OnlyFans Wrapped 2026” report, Spanish users will spend about 143.7 million euros next year, or more than 394,000 euros a day, putting Spain behind only Germany, France and Italy in the bloc. Madrid alone is expected to generate 19.88 million euros, more than some entire EU markets, underscoring how concentrated high-value digital entertainment spending has become in big urban centers.
The bigger story is that monetization is outrunning discovery. Global searches for OnlyFans fell 17.4% over the past year and are down another 24.3% in the first eight months of the current year, yet worldwide spending is projected to rise 10.2% to 7.366 billion euros in 2026. That is the kind of divergence investors should pay attention to: the market may be underestimating the resilience of recurring digital payments once a platform has locked in a loyal user base.
Europe is doing much of the heavy lifting. The UK and continental Europe are growing nearly twice as fast as the U.S., while Spain’s spending is expanding 15.6% year on year. France is growing faster still, at 19.8%, but Spain stands out for intensity: Spaniards spend 57% more per adult than Germans, despite Germany’s larger population. In other words, Spain is not just participating in the trend — it is one of the most profitable markets on a per-user basis.
For investors, that matters less for the headline platform alone than for the broader ecosystem around paid creator monetization: payment processors, digital identity tools, subscription infrastructure and marketing platforms that benefit when consumers shift from one-off clicks to recurring spend. It also reinforces a larger thesis across the internet economy: the most valuable users are not the most numerous, but the ones willing to keep paying.
RUM, MTCH and SNAP have all been trading as investors debate where digital attention is going next, and the answer is increasingly toward paid, sticky formats rather than pure reach. OnlyFans’ European numbers suggest the next leg of growth is less about brand hype and more about consumer conversion. If that pattern holds, the winners will be the platforms and enablers that capture repeat payments, not just traffic.
